About Us

Davids Tuition Centre was founded in 2009 to help students attain better grades in their GCSEs and A Levels. Since then we have now expanded to have an army of experienced and qualified teachers tutoring students in English, Maths and Science from KS1, 2 and 3, 11+, GCSE to A Level and IELTS courses in Ilford.

All our private tutors have the following:

  • Minimum degree level qualified in respected discipline

  • Up-to-date valid references

  • Experience teaching and out of school supported learning

We pride ourselves on the quality and dedication of our teaching. All our teachers are qualified and have a passion and commitment to assisting you in attaining your academic objectives, and with a very competitive price.

Once you've tried tutoring with us you will not be disappointed. Please give us a call to discuss your educational goals and how we can assist you in achieving them.

One-to-one tuition

One-to-one sessions at the centre; available for English, Maths and Science at £25 per hour when booking a 1 hour one-to-one session weekly.

We offer a discount when you book at least 2 hours one-to-one sessions weekly, which is at £20 per hour (otherwise £25 per hour for 1 one-to-one session).

We are also able to split the 2 hour sessions by the differing subjects if you wish, e.g. English and Maths, Maths and Science or English and Science.

At the moment we don't provide lessons at the student's home, just at the centre.

Group tuition

At Davids Tuition Centre we offer high quality group tuition in subjects such as English, Maths and Science, with tutors qualified in their respective disciplines who deliver each lesson with the utmost focus.

Why would you consider having group tuition?

We believe group tuition is the correct choice for you if you consider the following features to benefit you.

  • Small group sessions; up to 6 students per session, at a market beating rate of £10 per hour, with sibling/family discounted rate available.

  • Peer discussions, where students get to work as a group, sharing their ideas and thinking constructively.

  • Tailored homework. Whilst the session takes place as a group, the homework is tailor made to cater for the level and understanding of the individual student. This is important when aiming to improve the understanding and progress of each student on an individual basis.

  • Group assessments to determine the level and understanding of the subject area. Regular revision is strongly encouraged and is a profound ingredient in enabling a student to reach his or her maximum potential.

  • Offline teaching via email enabling students to be in touch with their tutors even outside of teaching hours when they require any further clarification or assistance with certain elements in a subject area.
